l'esterno dell'hotel In the old town city centre of Maastricht, some 30 metres from "het Vrijthof", opposite the oldest basilica in the Netherlands: Saint Servaas Cathedral you will find a characteristic townhouse B&B. De Hofnar has a number of smart rooms available for its guests.
Next to Vrijthofplein you will find Keizer Karelplein. In this beautiful square I have recently acquired en renovated a characteristic townhouse. After a complete renovation we have managed to create 10 beautiful rooms, all equipped with their own private H&C washstand. Furthermore there is a special communal breakfast room. Four rooms with private bathrooms and toilets. The others have shared bathrooms and toilets.

All rooms have been decorated in Ikea style.There is a double bed (lits jumeaux) and there is a possibility for (an) additional bed(s). They are also equipped with a TV, a DVD-player


In the basement we are planning to have a sauna and jacuzzi area.

Directions

Coming by car:

Coming from the A2 from Eindhoven or from Heerlen, take a right at the first traffic lights when entering Maastricht.
You will pass 2 traffic lights before you cross the bridge over the river Maas, called the “Noorderbrug”.
At the next set of traffic lights take one of the 2 right lanes.
Take a right turn here.
After 50 metres you will notice cars that are parked in front of “Rene Pans Meubelboulevard”.
If you can manage to make a U-turn here (be careful !), you can park for free.
Or you can drive on as far as the traffic lights.
After the lights take a right and then take a right turn again.
You are behind the GAMMA department store now.
There is free parking.
But park only during shopping hours here, after that your car is unsafe on this car park. A safer place for long time free parking is when you not take the first left (behind the Gamma) but the second left. There you can search a safe parking place.

Walk back to the traffic lights:
Cross the street here and take a right, into the Capucijnerstraat.
Walk past the former fire station and you will find number 35 on your left.
It is the house with the grapevine at the front. Are you sleeping in the other house, Keizer Karelplein 13.
Walk to the Vrijthof square. Take a right by the post-office and after 40 metres you will find next to restaurant 'Puur Smaak' B&B De Hofnar.
