The Inverleith Hotel is a small privately-run hotel adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens in central Edinburgh. Robert Louis Stevenson once lived in this fine Terrace of Georgian and Victorian Houses in one of Edinburgh's most desirable locations. The Inverleith Hotel, an Early Victorian Town House, has a friendly staff and warm family atmosphere whose top priority is to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one.

Our Hotel is located by the Royal Botanic gardens but is also within easy reach of the city centre. There are many local restaurants which are easily accessible from the Hotel, i.e., Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, French and of course, Scottish.

There is a local bus service -buses 23, 27, 8 from Princes Street- on your door step which will take you all around Scotland's famous capital. We are ten minutes from Waverley railway station and the bus station. The airport is a 20 minute drive.

Enjoy the tranquil setting of Inverleith amongst the splendour of the Botanic gardens and many parks and walks; yet Princes Street and the hub of city life are only 10 minutes away.

There are many visitor attractions in Edinburgh apart from being right next door to the Botanic gardens, we are also close to the Royal Yacht Britannia and the port of Leith. We are also ten minutes from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile which leads to Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the Royal Scottish Museum, Historic Houses and many more.

Our Hotel offers a wholesome breakfast, which is served between 8 and 9 a.m. Monday to Friday and between 8.30 and 9.30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, in our ground floor breakfast room. Breakfast includes: cereals and fruit juice, full Scottish breakfast with any variation (or all) of bacon, eggs, sausage, tomato, hash-browns, mushrooms, baked beans and haggis on request, a vegetarian breakfast if required, tea and coffee.
