l'esterno dell'hotel Sitting on in a rocky hill high above the white village of Monda, el Castillo de Monda has witnessed centuries of history. Dating from the Phoenicians, Roman times, it was the Arabic invaders who built the fortress and village here. Evidence is all around.

The actual hotel is built on towers and walls of the Arabic fortress. It is an important strategic position commanding the Guadalhorce Valley to the bay of Málaga with the Sierra Nevada visible in the distance. History lingers in the Castillo’s nooks and crannies.

The rooms are in a classical style with natural materials - wooden beams, four poster beds in the deluxe rooms, antique furniture, marble and terracotta floors, tiled bathrooms (including starry ceilings in the deluxe rooms), marble lion’s heads.


There are 27 rooms, comprising suites with two bedrooms, kitchen, terrace, jacuzzi and even one with a sauna: deluxe rooms, double rooms, individual rooms.

COME RAGGIUNGERE L'HOTEL

By car
From Málaga you can take the CN340 direction Cadiz or the Motorway AP7 untill you arrive to Marbella. On your right hand side you will find exit to Monda at the Comercial Center La Cañada. Take the road up to Monda, untill the first sign Monda/Guaro. Pass this first indication untill you arrive to a second indication that will over you an alternative way. Take this second on you left hand side and follow the roada, enter in monda and continue direction "el Castillo". A hilly road will bring you to the Hotel.

By train
The neares train station is in Fuengirola from there you have to take either a bus or a car and follow directions to Marbella you can take the CN340 direction Cadiz or the Motorway AP7 untill you arrive to Marbella. By airplane
You will arrive to Malaga Airport Pablo Ruiz Picasso. From here by car take the CN340 direction Cadiz or the Motorway AP7 untill you arrive to Marbella. By public transportation
With public transport you have to take the bus to Marbella. When you arrive to Marbella bus station, ask for the bus to Monda. Once in Monda you need to follow sign to the Castle /Castillo which is situated on the top of a hill. Everyone in the village know the place as it is unique and the main feature of Monda´s village
